A Derbyshire civil engineering firm is eyeing further growth after undergoing a management buyout thanks to funding from a specialist lender.
VUS, based at Cotes Park Industrial Estate, at Somercotes, Alfreton, has been bought by its management team with financial backing from ThinCats.
Founded in 2006, VUS delivers a range of civil engineering projects, specialising in cable installation, infrastructure and substation maintenance. It also has its own vehicles, plant and equipment division called VUS Plant.

It works with customers nationwide having established connections within the industry and in the local community.
As a result, it has achieved consistent and controlled organic growth year-on-year, with projects being won through word of mouth and personal recommendation.
Its growth has been achieved thanks to the leadership of managing director Neil Moore and operations director Ian Naylor, who, alongside the business owners, decided to facilitate the management buy-out.
Mr Moore said: “With our extensive client base that ranges across the 海角视频, we are always looking for our next step.
“Our collective decision with the owners to facilitate a management buy-out will allow us to continue our expansion.
