A Derby creative agency has masterminded the new brand identity of a historic building society.

Fluid Ideas, based at Darley Abbey Mills, was selected by The Cambridge Building Society as it looked to step up its drive to evolve and enhance its appeal.

The Cambridge, founded in 1850, is the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ’s 12th largest building society, with total assets of more than £1.45 billion.

Following a tender process, Fluid Ideas was chosen to lead on the creative strategy to progress the mutual’s brand for the future.

It has refreshed the promotional look and feel of The Cambridge, introducing CGI animations into its advertising, social and web presence.

The work marks the first phase of an initial three-year partnership with the building society.
