A Midland employment law firm is making a move into London and the Home Counties in its biggest expansion to date.
De Marco Solicitors is strengthening its team of employment and business law specialists with the appointment of Inderjeet Johal, a Hertfordshire-based solicitor who will lead the firm’s growth into London and the surrounding areas.
Mr Johal, from Letchworth Garden City, is a senior business and employment solicitor with a wealth of international experience in commercial and corporate law.

He will work alongside Sandra Garlick, principal of De Marco Solicitors, which has its headquarters in Coventry, to spearhead the firm’s development into London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, as well as Cambridgeshire.
De Marco Solicitors currently has consultant solicitors operating throughout Coventry, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire.
The firm has invested heavily in cloud-based technology to enable its lawyers to work remotely from any location, and have access to virtual offices with facilities to meet clients.
Mr Johal worked in industry before qualifying as a solicitor in 1995 and spent time in private practice prior to working at senior level in-house with companies including Volkswagen Group 海角视频, Abbey National, ABN Amro and Kendle International.
His areas of speciality include IT and communications, outsourcing, intellectual property, competition, media, contract, sport and employment.

Ms Garlick said the firm’s decision to expand into London and the surrounding counties had been prompted by an increase in clients from those areas.
