Cardiff headquartered corporate advisory group GS Verde is under new ownership.

The firm, which also has offices in Bristol, Cheltenham and Dublin, has been acquired by professional services firm AAB. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.

GS Verde provides legal to corporate advisory expertise acting on deals including management buyouts and mergers and acquisitions.

The management team of GS Verde, which employs more than 50, are remaining follow the deal which takes AAB’s revenues to £135m. It is its first acquisition following the recent investment by Goldman Sachs Alternatives to support AAB’s accelerate growth plans across the Ƶ and Ireland.

It also propels AAB into the top five of Ƶ dealmakers, based on the latest available data from Experian for the first half of this year. GS Verde will continue to operate under its existing brand before transitioning to AAB in due course.

AAB now employs over 1,100 people across 17 locations in the Ƶ and Ireland. It said it has a number of further acquisitions in the pipeline.
