Workplace consultancy Blueprint Interiors expanding its team as growth continues

Despite the temporary pause caused by Covid-19, firm projecting year end revenue to reach £5 million as planned

Management at workplace consultants and commercial office fit out specialists Blueprint Interiors say a strong order book and good sales pipeline means that it is bucking the industry trend, leading it to search for four new people.

The firm, which is based in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, and serves the Midlands region, said despite the temporary pause in projects caused by Covid-19, it is still projecting year end revenue to reach £5 million as planned.

Chairman founder Rob Day said: “We are looking to recruit four new people because we are confident in our strategic approach and confident our message will resonate with office owners who are now facing up to the realities of how offices of the future will need to be re-designed to adapt to demand and new ways of working.”

The positions that Blueprint Interiors is advertising include a head of delivery, a CAD technician, a senior business development professional and a bid manager.

Mr Day said: “The strength of our pipeline means we need a head of delivery to be responsible for ensuring our contracts run smoothly and deliver the required profitability.

“These increased outputs will mean that extra capacity is required in the design team. In addition, to ensure we stay on track to achieve next years’ target, we are making further investment in marketing by recruiting a business development professional with experience of consultative selling and a bid manager to ensure our marketing effort results in converted proposals.”

The new additions will follow the recent appointment of Mike McKeown as client services director. Mike is an experienced workplace design professional and was part of the team behind Paragon Interiors during its successful growth period.

Mr McKeown said: “Over the coming months there will be very few company board agendas that won’t have office space as a discussion item.
