A global professional services company has opened a new Bristol office after expanding its South West base from 50 employees to more than 350 in five years.
Business consultancy Turner & Townsend has relocated to Temple Point in Redcliffe.
Trefor Evans, company director for Bristol, says the expansion in the region has been driven by contract wins in the real estate, transport, utilities, power and defence sectors.
He said: “The expansion and relocation of our Bristol office reflects our commitment to the city and its people. We are a recognised centre of excellence in the region and a technical leader in the services we deliver.
"As a business we have focused our attention in the South West on attracting bright, energetic talent that can drive forward our work with our growing client base.
“We have a strong history of supporting graduates into the workplace and ensuring that they have the very best start on their journey.
"Our new office space will provide them, and our existing teams, with a modern workspace that fosters a culture of collaboration that is conducive to the success of the business.
Bristol mayor Marvin Rees, who opened the office, said: “I’m delighted to be opening Turner & Townsend’s new offices in Temple Point.
"Their commitment to supporting our city and our workers is clear, and these new offices will open up more collaborative and inclusive business opportunities. I wish them every success as they continue to grow.”
Turner & Townsend has 110 offices globally, including 13 in the Ƶ.
In October the company was ranked fifth in the Sunday Times Top Track 250, which charts Ƶ medium-sized firms with exceptional growth.
The business posted a turnover of £640million for the year ending 30 April 2019, growing 17 per cent on the previous year.
The company's Ƶ business also saw strong growth in the same period with total net revenue reaching £259.3million, including a net revenue of £123.1million for the infrastructure business.
