Fortis Therapy and Training has been named as Mental Health Consultancy of the Year at 2022鈥檚 This Can Happen Awards.
The Grimsby-headquartered operation, now in its tenth year of business, has been celebrated on the national stage for showing excellence in their approach with a key emergency service.
Work with the police was put forward, with the neighbouring Humberside and South Yorkshire forces, together with the National Police Wellbeing Service turning to the team.

A range of services have been provided, including training programmes and supporting podcasts, with trauma-informed approaches established.

Fortis鈥 work centres around a focus on a whole organisation approach to wellbeing culture, and the accolade, collected at London鈥檚 Business Design Centre, followed a highly commended last year.

鈥淭his win couldn鈥檛 have come at a better time for Fortis. This is our tenth anniversary year, and we have some exciting plans in motion to make it even bigger than the last 12 months, which have been our busiest yet 鈥 always a bittersweet thing to say given the nature of our work, however testament to how much more people are recognising the need for the approach to change around how we approach our mental health.鈥
Judges said the work was 鈥渕ore than commendable,鈥 with tailored solutions 鈥渄eeply impactful,鈥 鈥 responding to the complex mental health issues faced鈥.
This Can Happen Awards were launched in 2019 to celebrate and recognise companies and individuals who have shown excellence in their approach towards positive mental health.
Previous winners include Accenture, Legal & General, National Grid, Wave, Salesforce, Fidelity, Disney, Lloyds Bank and Royal Mail Group.
Joining Fortis on the stage this year were Experian, Mercedes-Benz, PHD, and Ogilvy.
