The chief executive of 海角视频 recruitment company Sanderson has stepped down after 41 years.
Mike Beesley is leaving the business, which is headquartered in Bristol but has offices across the country including in Manchester, Cardiff and London, to 鈥渃oncentrate on other interests鈥.
Managing director Jon Ball, who joined the company in 1996 as a trainee recruitment consultant, is taking over his role.
鈥淭his feels like the right time to move forward and experience new business adventures,鈥 said Mr Beesley.
鈥淚 leave the company in excellent hands with Jon and his team and I know they will drive it forward into the brave new world with the same dedication and skill as they have shown throughout previous years.鈥
Mr Beesley, who holds several chair roles and is an investor in multiple organisations, co-founded Sanderson in the 1970s with Keith Dawe.
Last year the duo set up recruitment investment business TIMESTWO Investments.
鈥淚 look back on my time at Sanderson with great fondness,鈥 said Mr Beesley.
鈥淚鈥檝e had the opportunity to work with some of the best organisations in the country 鈥 from major financial institutions through to talented startups and Government departments.
鈥淚 am also proud of the contribution we have made to community and charitable activities over the years.鈥
He added: 鈥淲hile this is an 鈥榦fficial鈥 adieu to Sanderson I remain their biggest ally and supporter as they navigate the next stage of their journey.鈥
Jon Ball said: 鈥淭his is a true milestone in the Sanderson story, and we are all grateful for Mike鈥檚 incredible contribution to the creation and development of this business over the years.
鈥淗e is a dedicated and passionate business leader who will be sorely missed and we wish him all the very best for the future in his new endeavours.鈥
