West Bromwich and Stratford-upon-Avon law firm Clark Brookes Turner Cary has sealed a sponsorship deal with Halesowen Cricket Club.
As well as injecting a “significant sum” to help support the Birmingham & District League Division Two side, the law firm will also be utilising the club’s facilities to target a part of the Black Country where it has previously had only a minimal presence.
Kevin Drew a senior associate solicitor with CBTC, said: “We will be looking to actively build our profile and attract new clients.

“It will be a return to my old stamping ground as Neil Mocroft and I used to work out of Halesowen and Stourbridge in the 1980s and 1990s.
“This is going to be a win-win for both the club and ourselves.”
The one-year rolling deal will see CBTC hold meetings and conferences at the ground for new and prospective clients, building on the club membership and associated links.
It will be backing the club with perimeter board advertising and it will be holding half a dozen games each year at the ground to entertain clients, other firms and contacts.
CBTC has a strong cricket connections.

Mr Drew, a residential conveyancing specialist, has been a player, coach, and chairman of Penn Cricket Club, is chairman of North Worcestershire Cricket Development Group and holds the volunteer role of legal director at Worcestershire Cricket Board.
In addition director Neil Mocroft is a Worcestershire CCC member.
Three members of the team still put on their whites – Richard Pinning, director, Omar Sadique, head of criminal, and conveyancing solicitor Jai Najran.
The arrangement has been put together by Mr Sadique and club chairman Richard Evans.
Mr Evans said: “CBTC have come on board to sponsor our flourishing youth section and I would like to thank Omar.
“It’s wonderful to see local business wanting to associate itself with the sport at grass roots level.”
Based at Seth Somers Park in Halesowen, the club dates back to 1856.
