A Cardiff Bay credit checking company has recruited 50 new members of staff.
Creditsafe, which provides packages providing customers with access to credit reports on companies, has added the new employees to its team in the Welsh capital across IT, security, development and product.
The company, which has offices in 14 countries and has more than 1,000 employees, says the appointments will help its expansion in these areas to meet the ever increasing demand in specialist credit data.
Wouter Morkel has joined the company following a career of more than 20 years in finance and credit.
He joins as a senior product manager, overseeing new developments for the company. Mr Morkel has moved with his wife from South Africa, to settle in Cardiff.
"I have absolutely fallen in love with Wales, I hadn’t been here before accepting this new role," Mr Morkel said.
"I’ll be joining a team of 10 in Cardiff Bay. It’s a big move, but I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to join an industry leading, dynamic and creative company with such an employee centric culture."
Adam Calvert, has joined the IT Technology team at Creditsafe having spent seven years in the industry prior.
He said: "At Creditsafe I’ve been given the opportunity to be involved in senior level projects and I get the chance to make noticeable improvements on a day to day basis. There are so many opportunities to get involved with different projects and the staff have been friendly and supportive throughout."
David Barry, who joined as a data analyst, said: "I wanted to join Creditsafe as it seemed like a good opportunity to join a successful and ambitious company. I also really like that there is so much focus on your development and an emphasis on the social side of things, which is unlike any company I’ve worked for previously."

Rasa Valentinaviciute, has joined the Creditsafe group from the Office for National Statistics, where she was a senior statistician.
She has joined the Creditsafe Group as a Junior Data Engineer and said: "I decided to make this switch because I wanted to challenge myself and put myself in a position where I’d learn about the most current ways of handling data and gain a well-rounded set of skills.
"I am really happy that an opportunity to work at Creditsafe came up, because I feel like the skills I’m gaining combined with the skills I acquired in my previous job will help me progress within the company. It’s an incredibly rewarding role because I feel like I’m constantly improving. I genuinely look forward to coming into work every day."
On the new appointments, Molly Downs, Creditsafe HR Adviser, said: "As a company that is continuing to grow we’re always on the lookout for fresh new talent to join us.
"At the Cardiff Bay group office just this year we have recruited a significant number of people and we are continuing to grow. One in four people in the Ƶ have been with us over a decade and that’s something that we are very proud of. We know we are a great company to work for with significant opportunities for people to develop a career road map and progress with the team here or indeed in one of our international offices.
"We are always on the lookout for motivated, career driven individuals who want to work for a company where they are encouraged to be themselves and continuously develop.”
