Black Country practice Talbots Law has welcomed a bumper intake of new trainee solicitors.

The move is the latest part of its 150-strong recruitment campaign for 2022, with ten new members of staff embarking on their new legal careers with the Brierley Hill-based firm.

Eight team members - Adeela Ali, Cindy La, Denielle Chatta-Sandhu, Dominic Bowen, Emma McIntosh, Sharon Garcha, Shaye McInnis and Zara Rafiq - have all started new training contracts which will see them specialise in their chosen area of law, with the end goal of qualifying and joining the national roll of solicitors.

They are joined by Abbie Danks and Ethan Davis who have started solicitor apprenticeships and which will see them study a work-based degree pathway with Talbots Law, earning the qualifications and experience required to become solicitors.

This is the second intake this year at the employee-owned firm and brings the total number of current trainees to 17, with plans to offer a further 20 positions over the next two years.

HR director Rachel Pardoe said: "We are really pleased to have so many colleagues starting their training contracts and solicitor apprenticeships.

"This is testament to the commitment, quality and ability of the amazing people that are part of our employee-owned business.
