Property firm Harris Lamb has welcomed a new lease advisory and valuation surveyor.
Carolyn Quinn joins the team from Knight Frank, having previously worked at Christie & Co specialising in the corporate childcare team, and has recently achieved her MRICS qualification.
Carolyn said: “I was familiar with Harris Lamb, partly because of the business’ strong reputation, and partly because I’d dealt with the professional services team in my previous roles, so when I became aware of the opportunity to join the team, I was very keen to do so.
“This is an exciting challenge, not least because of the strange times we’re all experiencing this year. I am pleased to have been able to join the business at a time when steps have been taken to re-establish an office environment, enabling me to meet and interact with my new colleagues in a way that would not have been possible just a few weeks ago.”

A kitchen design company has been so busy since lockdown lifted that the owner has taken on a second designer.
Staffordshire Kitchens opened its first showroom in North Walls, Stafford, in mid-March, only to close it again as the 海角视频 locked down to fight coronavirus.
But owner, Sandra Johnson, continued to provide support to clients during lockdown and has seen trade surge since reopening on an appointment-only basis.

Now Kevin Lewis has now joined the company as a designer.
Sandra said: “Kevin has years of experience working on kitchen and bedroom designs and will be working at Staffordshire Kitchens full time. Due to social-distancing precautions, we are operating an appointments only service. Customers are welcomed at our Stafford showroom, where they can see a selection of the kitchens we offer.
“A home appointment can follow and we use the latest 3D design technology to help people visualise how a new kitchen will look in a home.”
An award-winning travel agency has appointed a new group CEO.
Blue Bay Travel Group, based in Trentham, has welcomed Alistair Rowland to the role effective September 1.
Alistair joins the online travel agent with a clear focus on accelerating its growth. He will also continue to serve as ABTA Chair.
Current Blue Bay Travel CEO, Stuart Wilson will take the role of Group Executive Director and will lead on product development and strengthening the business’ deals strategy. Maxine Rowland will step down from her position of managing director after a period of handover and will stay in the business.

He brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous roles at Voyage Prive, LowCostBeds and numerous other tour operators.
Steve will be working under the direction of product management director Greg Armstrong.

Integrated marketing agency Plinkfizz is has appointed two new members of staff.
Account managers Charley Bright and Emma Thorley – who both previously worked at JCB Worldwide Marketing – have joined the team to support the continued growth of the agency.
The appointments follow 12 new client wins for Plinkfizz during the pandemic and the recruitment of Annabel Fallows and Hannah Natalello earlier this year.

Estate agent Paula Wareham has been promoted to a new role with Butters John Bee.
Formerly the manager of the Stone branch, Paula will now be Partner with the company enabling her to work safely and flexibly from home to meet the needs of her clients.
