Nominees will be working in fields such as mobile care or a care home setting, mainstream and higher education, for private and NHS hospitals and other healthcare sectors.

was Elle-Marie Reid from Bumble Bees Nursery.

After initially struggling with her confidence and ICT skills, she improved immensely and went on to complete her Level 2 and was working towards her Level 3 qualification. Assessors praised her ability to command a room confidently, interact with children and help them to grow and develop to the best of their abilities.

Outstanding Apprentice of the Year (Professional Services)

Birmingham has the most thriving professional services sector outside London and although not a field traditionally associated with apprenticeships that culture is changing. Applicants could be working for a big accountancy firm, a small creative agency or anything in between with judges looking for personal development and an ability to work with clients across all types of different projects and briefs.
