Metro Bank announces latest West Midlands opening

Bank confirms launch dates next week for its fourth new branch in the region

Metro Bank has announced the opening date of its fourth branch in the West Midlands.

The new site in Wolverhampton will launch on January 10 and bring to a close a significant period of investment into the region.

In recent months, Metro has opened branches in Birmingham, Solihull and Merry Hill in Dudley where it also has a drive-thru facility.

The new Wolverhampton store is located in Dudley Street and will deliver its free financial education programme called Money Zone to schools and youth groups in the area.

Ian Walters, managing director of retail and business banking at Metro, said: "We're thrilled to be opening in Wolverhampton and to become part of the local community here.

"This is our fourth store to open in the West Midlands and it's particularly special for me as Wolverhampton is my home town.

"Metro Bank will provide the people of Wolverhampton with the very best in service and convenience."
