Legion Trade Finance shortlisted for brace of awards

Birmingham-based Legion Trade Finance has been shortlisted for two industry awards.

The firm has been nominated in two categories in the Business MoneyFacts Awards 2015 – ‘Innovation in the SME Finance Sector’ and ‘Best International Solution Provider'.

Legion, founded in late 2010 by management and private investors, is an independent provider of trade finance solutions to º£½ÇÊÓÆµ companies which need facilities to purchase goods from their suppliers worldwide.

Legion offers structured trade finance solutions including paying suppliers direct, loans and letters of credit.

The typical facility starts at £250,000 with no upper limit on the size of trades it can fund.

Mike Yiannis, CEO, Legion Trade Finance said: “We’re delighted that our hard work in delivering innovative trade finance solutions has been recognised.

The winners of the Business MoneyFacts Awards will be announced at a gala dinner at the Lancaster London Hotel on March 19.
