A financial services firm has launched a new base in Birmingham city centre.

Howden, which is a global insurance intermediary group, has brought all of its teams in the city together into a single office at 45 Church Street.

The firm employs around 120 staff in Birmingham, working in fields like personal, business and health insurance alongside specialisms such as sports, rail infrastructure and gun trade insurance.

Its new base will also be used as a training hub for apprentices as part of the company's early careers programme for school and university leavers.
