MHA, the º£½ÇÊÓƵ and Irish division of Baker Tilly International, has announced a 32 percent surge in half-year revenue, with its audit and tax divisions leading the charge.

The accounting and advisory firm recorded revenues of £99 million for the six months ending 30 September, a substantial increase from £75 million in the same period the previous year, as reported by .

MHA reported that "nearly all" of its 23 offices experienced "significant double-digit growth" during the half-year period. As is common among professional services firms, MHA typically sees a larger proportion of fees in the second half of the year and anticipates full-year revenues to exceed £200 million.

Growth was seen across all service lines in the six-month span, with audit and assurance, and tax making the largest contributions. The firm also highlighted expansion in its top six sectors, with financial services, consumer products, technology, and automotive and transport at the forefront.

Previously known as MHA MacIntyre Hudson, MHA ranked as the 13th largest accounting firm by revenue in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ last year. The firm now boasts a workforce of 1,916 and a partnership of 147, having added 416 new starters and announced 270 promotions over the half-year.

Following a record intake of 214 new trainees for its 2024 cohort, MHA expects these numbers to "grow again significantly" next year, with over 10,000 applications received since September.

MHA's Group Chairman and Managing Partner, Rakesh Shaunak, shared a positive outlook: "MHA has had a strong first six months of the financial year with growth coming both organically, as well as via our successful merger in Ireland," and added, "We will continue to move with purpose, pace and an ambitious growth mindset. We look confidently ahead to anticipated double-digit organic growth for the full financial year 2025 and beyond."
