Appointments reflect growth at JW Hinks

Edgbaston-based chartered accountancy firm JW Hinks has taken on five new members of part of its growth plans.

Joining the firm are tax advisors Lisa Boylan, Rebecca Wooldridge and Tina Yates, payroll administrator Jenny Lai and trainee accountant Bethany Davis.

35 year-old Ms Boylan joins the firm after 14 years at Lloyds TSB Private Banking where she started her career as a tax advisor. Experienced in tax and payroll, she works with a variety of clients, including individuals and businesses.

Ms Wooldridge, 33, has joined the firm from Wolverhampton-based Muras Baker Jones. A qualified chartered accountant, her expertise includes accounts and taxation advice for clients including owner-managed businesses, directors, partnerships and farming businesses.

Ms Yates has a 30 year career in accountancy and is a specialist in personal tax, and works with individuals, partnerships and sole traders.

Ms Lai, 26, joins JW Hinks from a mid-tier accountancy firm in the West Midlands where she worked as a payroll administrator.

She is also an expert in the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), and works with clients including nurseries, builders, dentists, doctors, restaurants and pubs, fast food takeaways, and recruitment agencies.

24 year-old trainee Ms Davis joins the firm after working as a finance assistant at a local firm of solicitors. She is currently studying for her ACA qualification from the ICAEW.
