Apprenticeships provider 3aaa, which offers opportunities in accounting and financial services, has revealed it has a record number of vacancies for young people interested in getting their first foot on the career ladder.
3aaa has a network of more than 30 academies across England, including one in Birmingham.
The firm said more than 70 employers in the Birmingham area are currently looking for a young person to start an apprenticeship, the majority of whom are fast growing small and medium sized companies.

The company offers apprenticeships in IT, accountancy, digital marketing and financial services.
Despite the opportunities 3aaa says it is struggling to fill the roles, even after advertising campaigns on social media and elsewhere.
Dena Wyatt, manager of 3aaa’s Birmingham academy, said: “We have unprecedented interest from employers who have decided recruiting an apprentice is the best way to support the growth of their business.
“They value the fact that, as well as employing a motivated young person, the training that is being delivered to their employee is outstanding - as confirmed by 3aaa’s recent grade 1 Ofsted inspection.
“Apprenticeships offer a life changing opportunity for a young person and I want to get the message out to young people and their parents that there are many employers in Birmingham looking to recruit an apprentice today.”
