A director of a Black Country law firm last has won a national award in recognition of her leadership skills.
Mary Mocklow of QualitySolicitors Talbots picked up the award at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
It was presented by Eddie Ross, CEO of QualitySolicitors at the network’s Annual Conference and Awards 2014.

“The Leader of the Year Award recognises individuals who stand out,” said Clare Smith, partner firms director, QualitySolicitors.
“Not only in their approach to managing a firm, the delivery of legal services and customer service but also in their method of getting the best out of their staff and championing the QualitySolicitors values.”
In recent years, Ms Mocklow has spearheaded a number of key activities including investment in new telephony and practice management systems to improve the experience for customers.
QualitySolicitors Talbots has also opened new offices, both through acquisition and strategic growth.
It has expanded in to new geographical areas and it also now offers a wider array of legal services to clients, including personal injury, licensing law, housing and social welfare and regulatory law.

Over the last decade QualitySolicitors Talbots has gone from two offices to seven, its workforce has trebled in size to 170 and a £500,000 investment last year saw the firm establish a dedicated presence in Dudley.
In a double success for the firm, Martyn Morgan was also highly commended in the Innovator of the Year Award.
