An award-winning Hull accountancy practice has launched a new service aimed specifically at the sporting sector.
360 Chartered Accountants has introduced 360 Sport Finance and Mentoring, in response to a number of approaches from both professional and semi-professional sports clubs.
Founder Andy Steele has helped countless sporting clubs throughout a distinguished accountancy career, with funding applications, business development grants, research and development tax credits, tax advice and capital allowance claims on stadia expenditure and improvements, as well as energy efficiencies and reducing carbon footprint.

Managing director Adrian Hunter is also a leading player in the 海角视频 sport, stadia and leisure sector, with more than 20 years’ executive experience with blue chip and large corporate companies.
Mr Steele said: “Since its inception in 2010, 360 has always been at the forefront of innovation in the accountancy sector. That’s why we are proud to announce 360 Sport Finance and Mentoring. It’s an exciting new venture for us and we don’t think any other accountancy firm has the specific expertise we do in this field.

Aimed at both professional and semi-professional sporting clubs and venues, 360 Sport Finance and Mentoring provides help and support to boost financial growth, including the development of non-event day business, which is vital for long-term sustainability.

Mr Hunter is described as having unrivalled experience in the management of sporting venues and the opening of new stadiums in the 海角视频, from the catering, commercial and event management side. After almost two decades with Barclays he joined Compass Group as its sports division’s head of 海角视频 sales, with 33 stadiums served, before helping lead event catering business EMC Ltd, and moving on to serve as chief executive of SMG Europe. Stints at York City Knights and Wigan Athletic followed.

It’s a challenging sector and one that I love, so it just makes sense for us to use our expertise to launch this new service, helping clubs generate new and additional income streams, ensuring they maximise their revenue for a successful and sustainable future.”
It comes as the company, which has offices in Hull and York, has sponsored Hull City head coach Shota Arveladze and Hull FC coach, former captain and England international, Gareth Ellis, and player performance manager Richard Tate, for the current seasons.
360 also operates a grassroots sports foundation, encouraging and facilitating junior participation.
