Ƶ professional services firm Forvis Mazars has moved into a new Bristol city centre office. The company has relocated more than 100 staff to the eighth floor of Assembly Building C from its previous base on Victoria Street.

The business said the move to the modern office space would accommodate its "growing team".

Forvis Mazars joins a community of businesses at the mixed-use scheme including law firm Clarke Willmott and Norwegian wireless fabless manufacturer Nordic Semiconductor, which are within the same building.

The Assembly scheme comprises three office blocks overlooking Bristol’s historic harbour. The project is part of the growing Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone next to Temple Meads railway station.

Jon Marchant, Bristol office managing partner, said: “Relocating to Assembly represents an exciting new chapter for our team as we continue to expand our presence in the region. This move reflects our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional client service.

"It allows us to embrace more sustainable, flexible ways of working, while also helping us to reduce our impact on the city and wider environment. We’re looking forward to the opportunities this new space brings and are confident we’ll enjoy many successes here.”

Mr Marchant said the relocation followed "a period of significant success" for the team in Bristol, which recently announced another year of double-digit growth across its service lines as it continues to expand its offering to mid-market clients and public interest entities.

Forvis Mazars said its headcount had increased by more than 30 over the last year, with the firm recently appointing Mr Marchant as office managing partner in the city.

In addition to managing the wider team and maintaining growth across all service lines, Mr Marchant will be responsible for growing the firm’s mid-market and public interest entity audit offering, as well as expanding its private client services, in the region, the company added.
