Accountancy and business advisory firm PKF Smith Cooper has moved into a new office in Pride Park, Derby.

Renovations and refurbishment began in the spring to transform 12,000 sq ft of office space in Prospect House into a modern, open plan working environment over three floors.

It includes leisure facilities including a gym, flexible meeting spaces and new technology for hybrid events and working.

The firm is the home of the PKF network in the Midlands, and operates from offices in Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham and Ashbourne.

Senior partner David Nelson said: “Derby has been home to PKF Smith Cooper since its incorporation in 1985 and our move to Pride Park is a direct result of our firm’s ongoing expansion.

“As our team, service offering and client base continue to grow, a larger, more collaborative working space was required to meet our needs.

“Although we have embraced hybrid working across the firm, we believe that a tangible presence in our key locations remains an essential part of providing our clients with the high-quality service they have come to expect from us.”

Managing partner James Bagley said: “Moving our Derby team into these new premises was the next stage in our strategic plan to build our regional and national reputation as accountants and advisors to ambitious businesses.
