Top four accounting firm KPMG is relocating its Nottingham office to the University of Nottingham’s new Castle Meadow Campus.
Around 200 staff are set to relocate next year from the business advisor’s current office in Park Row.
KPMG said the move will provide it with a new home while strengthening its strategic links with the university. It will also bring it into a new professional working and learning environment which is being created to build closer ties between industry, staff and students.
And as well as allowing shared facilities it is hoped it will also supply a new pool of talent from the university.
Marc Abrams, senior office partner at KPMG 海角视频 in Nottingham, said: “This is an exciting time for KPMG in the East Midlands as we embark on the next stage of our relationship with the university.
“The decision to locate within the university in the city centre reinforces KPMG’s investment in the East Midlands and our ambition to expand and enhance staff experience by providing new facilities.
“With this move our clients will benefit from greater collaboration on research and innovation projects between KPMG and the university, enabling us to deliver enhanced data driven outcomes for their businesses.”
The university bought the Castle Meadow Campus last year after it was put up for sale for £36 million. It came on the market after previous tenant HMRC signed a 25-year lease on the 10 storey Unity Square hub, next to Nottingham railway station.

It has six distinctive three and four storey office blocks along with health and wellbeing hub.
