BDO Midlands has signed a five-year lease on new offices in Nottingham, showing its commitment to having a presence in the city.

The East Midlands team at the accountancy and business advisory firm hope to move to the 3,500 sq ft premises at Water Court in Canal Street, later this year, joining the likes of global law firm Eversheds Sutherland which is also based there.

They are currently based in temporary accommodation in the Regus serviced offices in the city centre.

The new offices, formerly two separate Victorian warehouses, were acquired and refurbished by Marlborough Property Company.

Andrew Mair, head of BDO in the East Midlands, said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted to have signed a long-term lease at Water Court, bringing the firm into the heart of Nottingham鈥檚 city centre.
