A South West accountancy and business advisory firm has moved to a larger office in Bristol as looks to expand its presence in the region.

Hazlewoods, which established a base in Bristol around two years ago, said it was hoping the move to Bull Wharf would attract new talent into the business and increase its client numbers.

The company also has offices in Cheltenham and Staverton, in Gloucestershire, as well as in Cardiff and employs 550 people.

Becki Copping, partner at Hazlewoods, has been appointed lead of the Bristol office and will be responsible for spearheading growth in the market.

She said: “Hazlewoods’ continued growth into the Bristol market is exciting for me both personally and professionally. Bristol and the wider South West is thriving and now feels like the perfect time for us to further invest in the market.

"Our new office provides a brilliant working environment for our team and will facilitate further growth. I am particularly proud to have the opportunity to lead the Bristol office, and look forward to building our presence in the region.”

Other senior figures based in the the new Bristol office include Hazlewoods' managing partner, James Morter; M&A partner and chief operating officer Phil Lane; and partner Daniel Bond.

Mr Lane said: “I am delighted we have had the opportunity to expand our office footprint here, marking a significant milestone in our growth strategy. This expansion feels like a natural next step, offering fantastic opportunities to grow both our client base and our talent pool, whilst leveraging our strong, full-service firmwide capability.”
