Mr Brady's resignation was announced in February

Warwick Brady stepped down from his role at aviation and energy infrastructure group Esken Ltd

The departure date of the boss of the firm formerly known as Stobart Group has been set ahead of him taking on a new role as chief executive of global aviation services business Swissport.

Warwick Brady will step down from his role at aviation and energy infrastructure group Esken Ltd on Friday, April 30.

The confirmation comes after his resignation was announced on February 9.

He will continue to provide support to Esken on a limited part-time basis until he leaves employment on June 30.

In the original announcement in February, the firm said Mr Brady would remain as chief executive until the end of June at the latest.

He will not be entitled to any payments other than his contractual entitlements for the period up to his leaving date.

At the time, Mr Brady said: "It has been a privilege to lead this business over the past four years. I am grateful for the support of my highly dedicated and professional colleagues. Esken is a strong company with great people and I wish David [Shearer] and the team every success."
