Newquay flights to Scotland and Newcastle set to return

The flights to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle and Aberdeen will begin in March after delays due to Covid-19

Flights from Newquay to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Aberdeen are set to return from March.

Loganair has announced the routes will be included in its Summer 2021 after the services were .

There will be four routes linking Newquay with the north-east of England and Scotland – with up to four weekly flights to Glasgow, four to Edinburgh, three to Newcastle and two flights each week continuing north from Newcastle to Aberdeen as a same-plane service.

There will be additional weekly services to Newcastle and Aberdeen during the July and August holidays.

A further new route sees the airline’s Glasgow to Exeter daily jet services begin in March after a delayed start.

The return of the domestic routes from Exeter has been .

Loganair chief executive Jonathan Hinkles, said: “We’re excited to introduce these services to Newquay and Exeter, which will enhance the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ’s regional connectivity by linking the South West with the North of England and Scotland’s three largest cities.

“The earlier than usual launch of our summer schedule is a recognition that many customers have deferred their travel plans this summer and who are waiting to book for next year.”
