Industry figure joins Kinaxia Logistics as new CEO

The group, which has its headquarters in Macclesfield, Cheshire, has two million sq ft of warehouse facilities nationwide

Kinaxia Logistics has appointed a leading industry figure to the newly-created role of group chief executive.

Simon Hobbs has vast experience in the sector, having held senior positions with Kuehne + Nagel, CEVA Logistics and DHL.

Kinaxia is a top 15 º£½ÇÊÓÆµ logistics group in the transport and warehouse sector, comprising 13 businesses with 1,800 staff and 920 vehicles.

The group, which has its headquarters in Macclesfield, Cheshire, has two million sq ft of warehouse facilities nationwide, offering contract packing, e-fulfilment, returns management and storage services.

It has seen significant and continued growth over recent years, with annual revenues now topping £200m.

Kinaxia Group founders Graham Norfolk and Peter Fields said: “In line with our recent growth and increase in scale and complexity, we have reviewed our management structure and created a new role of chief executive.

“Simon has a wealth of customer, operations and commercial experience gained from senior supply chain roles with DHL Supply Chain, CEVA Logistics and, more recently, Kuehne + Nagel.

“His experience will complement the skills we already have within the group and support our growth strategy. We are delighted to welcome him to this new role.
