Huge Humber International Enterprise Park development's consultation to 're-open' next week

Planners deferred the application earlier this month - with the impact neighbouring Yorkshire Energy Park may have flagged

Residents will get the chance to have a further say on the proposed Humber International Enterprise Park next week.

The development from Associated British Ports would take in Hedon Haven, to the east of Saltend Chemicals Park.

It is hoped that it could attract industry at a scale capable of providing 6,500 jobs, with 400,000 sq m of new build facilities.

The application was deferred by East Riding Council earlier this month to allow for further consultation.

Now the ABP team will invite residents from Paull, Hedon and surrounding areas to air their views online.

A spokesperson said: “Next Tuesday, ABP and the project team will present the latest scheme. Following this they will take questions and respond to comments made. To create a focussed discussion, there will be 10 “speaking” spaces in each session on a first come first served basis. These will be allocated in advance.”

An observer from the local authority will be present, with 6pm to 7pm on Match 2 allocated for the Paull community and 7.15pm to 8.15pm for Hedon.

Those interested in speaking have been urged to register with the property consultancy appointed by the port giant, Montagu Evans. Full details are on .
