A 95,000 sq ft industrial building is to be developed on a rapidly expanding gateway site in Goole.

Trevor Developments has swooped for a six acre site on Tom Pudding Way, with plans being drawn up for the speculative build.

Sitting opposite Siemens Mobility’s £200 million new train manufacturing facilities, the parcel of land was brought to market this summer.

It is to be marketed as Point 36 Goole - drawing its name from the M62 motorway junction serving the location - and sits in the Humber Freeport zone.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner at Trebor, said: “We are excited to secure our next Yorkshire site and bring forward this unit for occupation in 2022. The location is excellent, with strong links to the ports, motorway network and railhead, the unit being suitable for a wide range of uses.”

Birmingham-based Trebor has just completed a huge South Yorkshire development, with more than 600,000 sq ft built out in the past two years.

The Goole addition will span 94,841 sq ft, and is described as a “high quality, sustainable, industrial building suitable for B2 or B8 uses”.
