A national airport has launched an appeal for 100 security officers.
East Midlands Airport is taking on the extra staff ahead of the busy summer season, which is due to get underway at the end of this month.
The airport on the Leicestershire/Derbyshire border deals with around 4.9 million passengers each year en route to Europe and beyond.
It also handles 370,000 tonnes of goods a year and is one of only a few 海角视频 airports operating 24 hours-a-day.
Two-thirds of the airport's passengers fly through in the seven months between April 1 and October 31, as airlines increase numbers of flights and destinations.
At its busiest, more than 20,000 people will fly in and out of the Castle Donington airport each day to 80 international and domestic destinations in mainland Europe, Eastern Europe and North East Africa.
Aviation security officers are the public face of the organisation and play a key role in ensuring people鈥檚 smooth progress through the airport.
Felicia Farrimond, senior recruitment and vetting co-ordinator for security at the airport, said in order to keep it running all night and day, security officers work around the clock.
Applicants don鈥檛 need previous experience of working in security but do need excellent customer service skills.
A Level 1 aviation security qualification will be provided.
EMA is also recruiting for a passenger services assistant who will join the team responsible for supporting passengers with physical or hidden disabilities, and a driver to work in the customer services team.
