A 21-year-old Bristol-based freight transport company has fallen into administration with the loss of 47 jobs.
Drive Force 海角视频 has ceased trading after appointing corporate recovery and professional services firm Begbies Traynor as administrators.
Paul Wood and Simon Haskew, partners at Begbies Traynor, are handling the winding up of the company.
Mr Wood told industry website MotorTransport: 鈥淭he company had been experiencing significant financial difficulties as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and was unable to meet its outstanding costs.
鈥淒espite using the government鈥檚 furlough scheme for a number of months, sadly the business had no viable prospect of a return to future trading.鈥
Drive Force 海角视频 was founded in 1999 and specialised in bulk car and HGV distribution and storage in the 海角视频 and Europe.
According to MotorTransport, it had a standard international licence covering three operating centres - two in Exeter and one at its main Bristol depot - where it was authorised to run 25 HGVs.
The company provided logistics services to the automotive sector, including manufacturer operations and port deliveries, auction collection and deliveries and rental deliveries.
