Cornwall airport reveals year-round flights to Scotland

Scotland is back on the 'to visit' list for people in Cornwall

Cornwall Airport Newquay has announced three new year-round routes to Scotland this spring.

From April 1, Loganair will operate up to five flights a week from Cornwall Airport Newquay to Aberdeen.

From May 22, Loganair will operate up to five flights a week from Cornwall Airport Newquay and Glasgow.

And from March 29, Flybe will operate up to five times a week from Cornwall Airport Newquay and Edinburgh.

Richard Thomasson, Interim Airport Director at Cornwall Airport Newquay, said: “Scotland has long since been a popular outbound destination from Cornwall and we’re delighted that these new and improved services will offer more options for travel than ever before.

 “Given the appeal that Scotland has as a destination, and the distance involved in getting there, we know how popular these new services will be.”

Loganair

This year has already proven to be a busy one for Cornwall Newquay Airport, with several changes in place ahead of the summer season.

The public service obligation London route saga appears to be over, after  , with Flybe switching to Gatwick.
