A transport specialist, with a background in food and drink distribution, has won the biggest contract in its 16 year history.

Jigsaw has signed a distribution agreement with Refresco – the world’s biggest independent drinks bottler – to transport 200 million cases of soft drinks each year.

It will move them from 10 º£½ÇÊÓƵ manufacturing and distribution sites direct to customers and warehouses.

The company, based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, in north west Leicestershire, overcame stiff competition to win the deal, which will last for several years.

Jigsaw is part of the £870 million turnover EV Cargo group – which also includes Adjuno, Allport Cargo Services, CM Downton, NFT and Palletforce.

EV Cargo operates in 120 countries and has 9 million sq ft of warehousing and 20,000 delivery vehicles.
