Arriva have now said this will mean services in North Wales and Chester will stop from Sunday - with around 400 drivers involved in the action.

The firm said it had put forward an improved offer and hoped to reach a "full resolution" to avert the action.

If no deal is reached 400 Unite members working at depots, including Amlwch, Bangor, Hawarden (Chester), Llandudno, Rhyl and Wrexham, will strike continuously from 6am on Sunday 14 November 2021 until 1am on Sunday 19 December.
