Nominations are open for the 2021 Women in Business Awards

The awards will celebrate the work of leading businesswomen around Leicestershire

The LeicestershireLive Women in Business Awards have launched, and we’re looking for nominations from the best businesswomen in the region. The awards, with headline sponsor Growth Partners, will be held on September 9 - with nominations closing on July 23. To enter, or for more information on the awards, visit the .

The awards will celebrate the accomplishments of businesswomen around Leicestershire across a variety of industries - recognising their dedication and skill, and the inspiration they provide to aspiring businesswomen. From the executives of large companies, to small business owners, to budding entrepreneurs - we look forward to honoring a range of incredible achievements on the night.

As such, we want as many nominations as possible, to ensure that we can showcase the best of the best on the evening of September 9. If you’re a businesswoman and you feel you’ve accomplished something worthy of note over the last year - or you know a businesswoman who has - we want to know about it.

There are 12 categories in total, with 10 that can be entered. There are categories for apprentices, small businesses, and innovative businesswomen just to name a few - so if you feel that you’re a good fit for one of the categories below, enter via the . Apprentice of the Year

This category recognises the best female apprentice. We are looking for nominations for apprentices from any sector of the business community. Nominees should be role models for other apprentices and be performing well on their apprenticeship.


Rising Star

This category recognises women who own or run new businesses or are fast rising career professionals working in Leicestershire. They should be able to demonstrate that they are progressing within their chosen profession, or that their business has consistently achieved growth.
