The 2023 LeicestershireLive Innovation Awards are underway - and there’s only two days left to submit your nominations. The awards, with headline sponsors De Montfort University, Morningside Pharmaceuticals and the University of Leicester, will be held on February 16 2023 at the National Space Centre in Leicester. The awards provide people and organisations across Leicestershire with the chance to be recognised for their innovative work and accomplishments over the last 12 months. Faced with the challenges of the past few years, Leicestershire’s businesses, schools, charities, entrepreneurs and more demonstrated an outstanding ability to think outside the box - overcoming obstacles with unique, creative solutions and producing outstanding results.
This daring and creative work is key to helping Leicestershire thrive, and this year we’re looking for the best of the best in innovation. It might be an individual, school, charity, sports club, business or other outstanding innovator - but if you think you know of an individual or organisation deserving of recognition, we want to hear about it. Nominations can be submitted at , with nominations closing January 8.
There are 12 categories in all, representing a range of accomplishments and fields in which innovation has been pursued - including Innovation in Food & Drink, Innovation in Sustainability and Innovation in Innovation in Logistics and Exports.
