Over the last year, many businesses found themselves needing to rethink the way that they operated - as the coronavirus pandemic put serious limitations on how businesses could operate.
Technology proved to be a boon for a lot of these companies, opening up new methods of work and organisation - in some cases making businesses significantly more efficient. The awards will celebrate businesses that have taken the importance of tech to heart, and used it to produce amazing work.

Young Tech Ambassador
The younger generations have grown up with tech in an unprecedented way, and are often proficient with technology from a young age. As such, it should come as no surprise that there are plenty of young people distinguishing themselves in this field. The following finalists are all people under 30 who have already accomplished big things with tech.
Hannah Davies - RoguePsych
Mental health is a facet of life that has been taken more seriously over the last few years - and the coronavirus pandemic made it even clearer how important good mental health resources are. Hannah Davies is a founder of RoguePsych, an online service that provides information and material designed to help people understand and strengthen their mental health. In particular, RoguePsych presents materials in such a way as to appeal and be understandable to Gen Z.
Khalid Tayan - Springchat
Though social media was initially intended to connect people, many find current social networks to be combative, and not conducive to conversation. That’s how Khalid Tayan saw things, and he started Springchat to offer an alternative. The app is designed to give people a space to talk about anything from current affairs, to baking, to tv and film. The app provides an individual and messenger function - but also provides an instant chat option, in which people can join an anonymous, time-limited chat to spark a quick conversation or instantly react to something.

Business was global a long time before we had advanced technology, but the advent of the electronic age has made international business possible on a scale and at a speed not possible before. The Best Global Reach finalists are companies that have used tech to achieve a presence beyond the boundaries of home.
