Each year, businesses and individuals across Nottinghamshire are nominated for the awards in an effort to recognise their accomplishments - and the work that goes into keeping the county’s industries thriving.

This work was particularly difficult during the coronavirus pandemic, as businesses across Nottinghamshire and the country as a whole were forced to suddenly change the way they worked, or stop work altogether for a time. Nonetheless, Nottinghamshire businesses and individuals worked tirelessly to overcome the obstacles in front of them and succeed against the odds.

Innovation is crucial for any business - the ability to constantly improve and evolve is key to a business becoming a leader in its field. This was even more important during the pandemic - as businesses found themselves needing to radically change the way they worked, with many developing innovative solutions that made them much more effective.

The Excellence in Innovation Award - sponsored by - recognises businesses that stand at the cutting edge of their field, and have demonstrated an ability to achieve great results through innovation.
