The NottinghamshireLive Business Awards are back for 2021, and we’re looking for from the of business across the county. The awards - in association with Champions (º£½ÇÊÓÆµ) PLC, will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre on October 14, with nominations open until June 11. We think the awards are more important than ever this year, as they give us a chance to celebrate the resilience and hard work that businesses demonstrated throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite a fluctuating economic situation, and s on how they could operate, businesses and their employees worked tirelessly to - producing some incredible work in the process. Some businesses even used these limitations as a chance to innovate, and change the way they worked for the better.

It’s this work that the awards will celebrate - and if you think that either you or your business is worthy of recognition, we want to hear from you. There are 15 categories that can be entered, providing a variety of ways that a business can celebrate its accomplishments.

For instance, you might run a start-up business that’s made a big splash in the short time that it’s been active - or perhaps you work for a not-for-profit organisation that you feel is making a significant difference in the world. You might feel that your business is on the cutting edge of its industry, and deserves to be recognised for its innovation - or that you provide unparalleled customer service.

The Company of the Year award celebrates businesses that have performed outstandingly throughout the year. Recognising a firm that has stood out from the crowd, the winner of this category will have developed a strong business presence with proof of achievements including strong market share, economic turn-around and innovative approach. Judges will be looking for a business that can be universally admired for their commercial practice and dedication to success.


SME Business of the Year | Sponsored by

The award is open to companies in the region which normally employ no more than 250 full-time staff and have a proven record of success. Recognising a business that has shown marked success over the year, this award celebrates companies that are integral to the economy. For all finalists, judges will consider the prospective growth and development opportunities for the future of each business.
