Nominations are open for one of the biggest events in the region’s business calendar.
Hundreds of business leaders are due to attend the 2021 at the Derby Arena on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
The 2020 awards – like so many events – fell victim to the pandemic so this year’s will be a double celebration, catching up for lost time and recognising all those businesses that have fought so hard through such a tough few months.

The black tie event – supported by BusinessLive and in association with – celebrates the very best the region’s business community has to offer.
And as well as honouring the county’s best companies, the awards are also a great reminder that Derbyshire is a great place to do business.
On top of that the awards evening also act as a fantastic opportunity for networking and socialising, uniting Derbyshire’s business community in a positive way.

And the clock is now ticking for those businesses looking to get involved, with entries closing on Friday, June 11.
Previous winners and businesses that have entered in past years but not been successful are welcome to enter, while first-timers are particularly welcome to apply.
This year there will be 16 categories, ranging from start-up of the year to business entrepreneur of the year, employer of the year, and not forgetting the overall company of the year.
Category sponsors will help judge the individual awards, which will include site visits as and when conditions permit.
The build-up to the big night also includes a Champagne and canapés reception for sponsors and finalists, at Derby Conference Centre on Wednesday, September 22.
