Offshore Wind Connections goes back to Bridlington Spa for first event in three years after Covid pandemic

Offshore Wind Connections is back for 2022.

Offshore Wind Connections 2022 has been announced against a backdrop of gains for the Humber region over the last 12 months.

Team Humber Marine Alliance’s well-established conference returns as a live event this spring, having been pulled in 2020 as the pandemic struck and gone virtual in 2021.

And it is back in Bridlington, at The Spa, where it spent a couple of successful years prior to its Hull hosting.

Hundreds of delegates will converge on the coastal town for the industry get together which has secured headline sponsorship from Ørsted.

Last month, the world-leader hit a major milestone in generating the first power from its Hornsea Two wind farm. It will take the global record as the largest offshore wind farm when fully operational.

Speakers will reflect on the significant advances made by the region following recent government and private investment in offshore wind, totalling hundreds of millions of pounds.

Industry experts will highlight supply chain opportunities and provide insights into the progress and success of some of the globally significant Humber-based renewables projects.
