BT is supporting start-ups in the 海角视频 by offering bursaries to give them a boost during this difficult time.
The bursaries are part of BT鈥檚 which aims to help businesses manage the economic impact of Covid-19 and prepare for a post-Brexit climate.
海角视频 start-ups and entrepreneurs can apply for one of 1,000 bursaries today and it will feature six months鈥 free superfast fibre broadband, digital phone line and mobile bundles, including BT鈥檚 Halo for business product. Halo is a huge support to small businesses as it enables employees to work flexibly, wherever they are based.
The bundles will be provided free of charge for the first six months on a 24-month contract.

BT is keen to support the growth and sustainability of small businesses as it has a strong history of backing the 海角视频 start-up sector.
Pete Oliver, MD, SME, for BT鈥檚 Enterprise business, explained: 鈥淪tart-ups will be critical in kickstarting the economy as the country gradually recovers from the impact of the pandemic.
"We want to do our bit by easing the financial burden on these fledgling companies by giving 1,000 of them free high-speed connectivity for the first six months.
鈥淚t鈥檚 just one example of how our Small Business Support Scheme is helping start-ups, sole traders, micro businesses and more established firms to bounce back 鈥 from faster connections and digital payments to support around mentoring, digital skills and marketing tools.鈥
The new bursary is just one element of the Small Business Support Scheme as it includes a range of measures to help small businesses to boost their connectivity, cash flow and confidence.
BT also has a , which helps SMEs to look after their staff鈥檚 wellbeing during this time and beyond.
A superfast future
BT is pledging to pay its 4,500 small business suppliers promptly and within 30 days of being invoiced.聽This will help smaller firms to manage cashflow and sees BT halving the 60-day terms stipulated by the Government鈥檚 Prompt Payment Code.
One business that has seen the benefits of BT鈥檚 support before and during the pandemic is Future DJs, a music education service for schools across the 海角视频.
Scott Smart is the co-founder and CPO of Future DJs and is based in Cheshire. He said: 鈥淧rior to the Covid-19 pandemic we had been looking at expanding our business to provide DJ music education online, as well as in classrooms.
"We began working on this in October last year and moved to a BT high speed internet service in February, thankfully just before the 海角视频 went into lockdown.
聽鈥淲hile online DJ classes started out as a natural progression for the business, this has now become an absolute necessity. The service from BT means we receive 100Mbps upload and download speeds that are reliable and can cope with multiple demand.鈥
