The NottinghamshireLive Business Awards are approaching for 2021 - and we can’t wait to celebrate the accomplishments of businesses and individuals in Nottinghamshire. The awards, in association with , will be held on October 14 - for more information, visit the .

Tickets are £100 (+VAT), contact Michelle on mroberts@championsukplc.com or 08453 313 031 for more information.

Each year, the awards recognise the work of the Nottinghamshire business community - and those who keep it going. We feel that the awards are more important than ever this year, in light of the challenges faced by industry during the coronavirus pandemic.

Faced with restrictions on how they could operate, and an uncertain economic climate, businesses and individuals were forced to adapt - coming up with ways of weathering the storm, or changing their way of operating entirely to fit the new circumstances. In the process, some businesses found that having to adapt made them even more efficient and capable, and came out of the pandemic stronger than before.

The awards celebrate this work, and the skill and determination that made it possible for Nottinghamshire businesses to succeed in such a way. We sought nominations that reflected these achievements - and after a period of judging, our finalists have been decided. In preparation for the awards, we’re publishing profiles on our finalists, to give people a chance to see what makes them worthy of being recognised.

It takes a lot to be a good employer - having to run a business and balance the need to ensure employees are performing at their best, with the need to create a workspace that is encouraging, healthy, and gives employees a sense of fulfilment. Doing so is no mean feat, and the Employer of the Year category - sponsored by - celebrates those that meet such a standard.
