The latest shortlist revealed by the annual awards showcases the best Medium Non-residential Schemes at the 2025 ProCon Awards

Faith, sport and science are the themes of the building projects competing for the Medium Non-residential Scheme of the Year title in the 2025 ProCon Leicestershire property and construction awards.

A school in Oadby, a campus in Loughborough and Leicester's Cathedral are the settings for the finalists in this category, sponsored by Procure Partnerships Framework and one of nine in this year's 22nd ProCon Leicestershire Awards.

Charnwood Campus - Building 28, Loughborough, submitted by CPW and Charnwood Campus

Charnwood Campus - Building 28 is a transformation of a dormant laboratory building into a futureproofed, high-specification research and development hub.

Located within the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ's first Life Sciences Opportunity Zone, this ambitious regeneration project was delivered in just 12 months with its 9,417 square metres of adaptable lab and office space.

The building, tailored for the complex demands of the life sciences sector, is fully occupied by a global leader in inhalation drug technologies.

A major project at Leicester Cathedral saw significant but subtle repairs and renovations, designed to ensure the long-term preservation of both the façade and interior elements.
