As the construction industry faces a current skills shortage, , is assisting young people with career progression.
The family run business is addressing the difficulties of attracting new starters in the trade, through its new training hub.
In partnership with , Rydale is offering a 24-week course in Level 1 construction, followed by an 18-month apprenticeship with local roofing companies in Stoke-on-Trent.
Apprentices will also have the opportunity to gain a Level 2 in their chosen style of roofing- whether it be slating and tiling, liquid waterproofing or sheeting and cladding.
Company director, Julie Mirowski said: "Our company and others across the area are crying out for more workers, alongside the issue of an ageing workforce."

The team at Rydale continues to challenge outdated stereotypes that are often associated with working in construction, something which they believe has held the industry back over the last few years.
