A 40-year-old printing company in Somerset has been sold out of administration, with the loss of nine jobs.
Wincanton Print Company, which employed 33 people at Wincanton Business Park on Wessex Way, appointed corporate and recovery firm Begbies Traynor as administrators on Monday (November 2).
The announcement was made on 海角视频 public records site, The Gazette .
The 24 other jobs were saved as part of the sale, according to joint administrators Julie Anne Palmer and Marco Piacquadio of Begbies Traynor.
Ms Palmer said: “This is a positive outcome for a long-established business within the Somerset community, given the current climate following the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"The decision of the director to take early and decisive actions has not only resulted in the rescue of 24 jobs but has also resulted in safeguarding the long-term future of the business.
"It shows that, notwithstanding the challenges many business owners face, the rescue procedures available can preserve a business to be able to prosper going forwards.”
The commercial printing firm is owned by Steve and Charlotte Taylor, according to Companies House records.

The business prints items including brochures, packaging, exhibition stands, banners, car wraps, business cards, leaflets, flyers and posters.
According to the company’s website, Wincanton Print provides services to more than 200 trade clients as well as directly to end users.

It also has a “long-term partnership” with Yeovil Town Football Club and Aston Martin Racing, its website says.
The news comes as businesses across the region scrabble to prepare for a second national lockdown in England on Thursday - a move criticised heavily by business organisations across the South West.
According to Stephen Henagulph, chief executive of Somerset Chamber of Commerce, businesses have had "the rug pulled from under them".
Mr Henagulph says England needs to get Test and Trace "working properly and efficiently" so companies can get results quickly.
He said: "Somerset businesses are great at being adaptable and have done everything they have been told to do within the Government guidelines but now they’re right back where they started again.”
