Sales and profits at Nottingham-headquartered Games Workshop soared in the last year as bosses hailed the "best year in its history".
Despite the challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic, the Warhammer creator's annual financial report, released to the London Stock Exchange, shows revenue hit £269.7 million for the year to May 31, up from £256.6 million.
Meanwhile, pre-tax profits jumped from £81.3 million to £89.4 million.
Kevin Rountree, the Lenton-based firm’s chief executive, said: “An amazing set of results - the best year in Games Workshop's history, so far.
“You can once again see from these results that our business and the Warhammer hobby are in good shape.
"We look forward to the year ahead and will face any challenges head on and learn from our mistakes.
"We thank our staff and customers and other stakeholders for their continued support during these uncertain times."
While the firm has posted another record set of results, Games Workshop was not immune to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

In the firm’s financial report, Mr Rountree said: “As the pandemic developed in the year reported on, we assessed the potential impact on our staff, their families and our customers and closed the business globally on March 24. We could not guarantee that we could operate by following government guidelines.
“Most of our business is now recovering and some staff continue to work from home. In summary, after an incredible team performance, we only lost six weeks of sales and profit.
“My sincere thanks to everyone who supported us through such a challenging time. Your help has been invaluable in achieving the strong position we find ourselves in.”
Going forward, Games Workshop is eyeing further growth. Last week, it was revealed that work on the firm’s new, 177,500 sq ft state-of-the-art distribution centre at the 700-acre SEGRO Logistics Park East Midlands Gateway (SLPEMG), near Castle Donington, in north-west Leicestershire, had been completed.
It means the company, which makes fantasy miniatures, can start using the building, on which it has signed a 15-year lease, as its main distribution hub from autumn.
