This time last year its main customer was Aldi which back them put in an order for 313,600 sq metres - around 54,000 rolls.

It said its winter production figure will be enough to insulate more than 729,000 radiators, 63,800 shed roofs, 32,700 garage doors or line the lofts of 3,500 houses.

Management at the family-owned business said they were getting strong orders for their DIY insulation from retailers including Aldi, Wickes, Wilko, The Range, Yorkshire Trading Company and Travis Perkins.
